Fantasitic lineup for St. Patrick's Day! A wealth of Celtic trad, rock, folk, all topped off with a big dose of Loons. Here's the lineup:

Not only is the Voodoo Loons St. Paddy's Day Bash back on, despite the historic original venue's closure... it's now BIGGER than ever! We're moving the party outdoors to Cincinnati's Fountain Square stage. A bunch of great bands on the bill (official lineup coming soon), capped off with the Loons taking the stage at 8:30. Our brother in music Mark Daly will join us again this year to add his mandolin wizardry. It's gonna be HUGE! Last year drew over 5,000, this year's a Saturday... HUGE! Mark your calendar NOW!

With the sad news that the historic Southgate House is closing, we have decided not to do our annual St. Paddy's Day Bash this year. Or maybe we'll decide to do something last-minute, but that's where it stands for now. Here's a download of a tune from last year's show for ya, though.

Big fun at the Evendale Cultural Arts Center earlier today... always fun to get out and play an acoustic set. Thanks to ArtsWave/FineArtsFund for hosting us, and special thanks to Bradley Wehlitz for sitting in on lead guitar. No more shows scheduled for the time being... we'll be locked
up in the studio until the album is done.... unless something else pops up. Stay tuned...

St. Paddy's Day Bash! The band is excited to announce the First Annual Voodoo Loons St. Paddy's Day Bash @ the Historic Southgate House. Our bud Mark Daly (Bela Fleck, Levon Helm, Peter Rowan,
etc.) will be sitting in on mandolin. Doors open at 8, show starts kickin' at 9pm with a rare solo set by Jason Arbenz (Goose, Cari Clara, Throneberry, Liquid Hippos). Only $5 for 21+, $8 for 18-20. This is a Thursday night, folks... plan now to take the long weekend!
